Jaap, could I persuade you to take another look at these two issues in Zim:

"Do not parse input as wikicode"

"Option to disable all autolinking"
https://bugs.launchpad.net/zim/+bug/585301

These are critical to anybody who works with code, which I would image
might be a proportionally large number of Zim users considering the
forums in which Zim is discussed and promoted.
