not optimized for flowcharts, but can do them as well), you can simply
insert the images and use the "Open With" menu item to open again with the
editor of choice.

Quick search on freecode.com doesn't show up much tools for this. Maybe
there is a niche for a simple SVG editor that is optimized for flowcharts
and similar diagrams ?
