Hey,

For the U1 contacts I can work it out easily. We already have a telepathy logger. I will patch it up for ubuntu to actually map the contacts from telepathy with U1 and log them into Zeitgeist. This will allow me to easily populate the view with "Recently Contacted" as well as "Frequently Contacted" :)

This is definitely something we'd like to do. I've already tipped off
kenvandine that I'd like to talk about how libfolks and Ubuntu One and
gwibber all fit together in terms of contacts stuff, and if anyone has
any thoughts on that I'd be very interested in hearing them.
