Re: wiki?

Hi all,

I've been quiet busy but will also participate to the wiki.

According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam, the LaptopTestingTeam is now over (but not since 2005 as stated, I created the UL30A page in 2009, and it was still alive), we should move the page to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop/Reports tree.

I guess the content will also need some reorganization to cover general information, or related to specific Ubuntu versions (Lucid, Karmic ...) and various hardware models (UL30/50/80 and variants).

Cheers,

     Philippe

Wikia? Come one ;) we have wiki.ubuntu.com - why not :) (I have contacted
John off-list, so I won't be elaborating much more here :) I'm for it, it's
a very good idea. In the meantime, you can have a look at:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop
  <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop>
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop/Reports
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Laptop/Reports/AsusF5RL
There used to be a related wiki page at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/AsusUL30A
(which https://launchpad.net/~asus-ul30 still points to)
but this got since moved to
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/Old/AsusUL30A

I assume those pages are renamed without forwarding links everytime a
new Ubuntu version is released (which can be annoying) but it could also
be that what's written at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam hit us (though somewhat
delayed then). I'm CC'in Sergio Zanchetta who may know some details and
has a different copy of the UL30A page stored here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SergioZanchetta/Old/AsusUL30A

I definately agree with wiki.ubuntu.com over wikia (but think that any
other collaborative service allowing for unregistered read access, which
is directly related to Ubuntu's or Debian's community would be fine),
though.

Albert, can you update the LaptopTestingTeam link on
https://launchpad.net/~asus-ul30 accordingly?

CC goes to Neehilo who originally created the page in the wiki.

Thanks,

Moritz
