Re: Tutorial on using Bazaar Explorer pending

Hi Ian,

thanks for the tutorial. However, aren't these requirements *very*
bleeding edge?

    * QBzr 0.17 or later
    * Bazaar Explorer 0.10.0 or later.

Because when I add the PPAs for them synaptic lists versions 0.16 and
0.9.0.0 as the latest versions (I use Ubuntu 9.10).
It looks like you want the end-user to build from the latest sources.
And to get the latest sources (s)he must use bazaar. But in order to
use bzr, the end-user is reading this tutorial. Looks like a catch-22
to me!

Another thing:
Bazaar Explorer fails to start up when there is no ~/.bazaar
directory. It is apparently needed to make the explorer directory in.
The directory .bazaar gets created by e.g. entering the command line
'bzr whoami "username <e-mail address>"'

Cheers,

Roger
