He,

I don't see to much benefit for creating l10n team for a specific
project like Bazaar, but we can try :)

A l10n team for version control system would make more sense for me.

In Gnome, there is a single i18n/l10n for discussion all translations,
including GUIs, libraries or backends. There are similar groups for KDE
and GNU.
All those groups are grouped around a translation process and they
include a big number of applications and libraries.

Since we are going to use Launchpad Translations, I suggest to have a
close relation with Launchpad Translators group.

How we should interact?
Use the Launchapd Translators mailinglist.
If we are talking about bzr branch and how to handle bzr translations, i
think those discussing are of a great value for any VCS, not only bzr.

As a first action I would like to see those translation using a
Structured or Restricted translation policy and assigned to Launchpad or
Ubuntu translations group.
Right now there are many people submitting bad translations in
Launchpad, and allowing anyone to translate is like allowing anyone to
commit to your code branch. In such an environment it is very hard to
assure a minimum level of quality.

Hope this email will not discourage the localization of bzr, but rather
help building a solid and open team.

Cheers,
