[Bug 1096598] Re: netspeed cannot find wlan0 interface

I am fairly new to Ubuntu (12.10)and Cairo Dock 3.1.0, so forgive me if this is a stupid question or I am asking this in wrong place. I am having a similar issue getting eth0 to be detected. (Interface 'etho0' doesn't seem to exist or is not readable.....) I have googled extensively for a solution with no luck. But it does exist.

Title:
  netspeed cannot find wlan0 interface

Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
Cannot use netspeed to display wlan0 information.
However, the result of `cat /proc/net/dev`is correctly listing the wlan0 interface:
  Inter-| Receive | Transmit
face |bytes packets errs drop fifo frame compressed multicast|bytes packets errs drop fifo colls carrier compressed
   wlan0: 345993821 808046 0 0 0 0 0 0 520098880 976815 0 0 0 0 0 0
      lo: 393633 4170 0 0 0 0 0 0 393633 4170 0 0 0 0 0 0

  (wlan0 is the third line)

  Using cairo-dock v3.1.0 on Ubuntu 12.04, Linux 3.5.0-21

  Benoit
