I agree. However the majority of people involved in this project this is
their first development project to be reviewed for inclusion in
debian/ubuntu.
So you should not be quite so surprised. :)
I think this was one of the reasons you were sought out to help in this
project. Which you have done a great job on.
I do not want anyone to get discouraged because of mistakes. We should
point them out and make sure they get fixed. However lets keep in mind that
a lot of people helping on this project have not gone through this process
before.
