This is an enhancement request for the Files & Folders Plugin.
It may also be related to bug #329300.

It would be great to limit the search to only directories or files.  One
way I have seen a similar application perform this is by allowing a
wildcard search when adding a directory to be index (as described in bug
#329300).  A special case in the wildcards is ".directory" telling the
search to include directory names, without it, directory names
themselves would not be indexed and only file names picked up based on
the other wildcards specified.

One use case for this is that there are some places I clearly know the
directory name of the files I am looking for (such as my movies
directory).  However, the file names are junk to me, indexing them would
be quite useless.
