This is great news! Thanks a lot for dedicating time to do this!

The switch to GTK3 is planned for the next release, as in this one,
we're focusing on performance and stability after the switch to
liblarch. So we're able to help, but we probably will have only a
limited bandwith until the next release, where we will strongly focus
on this port.

In the meantime, the best way for you to find help is ping developers
hanging in our IRC channel or (my personal preference) send us a mail
on our mailing-list. Since you will probably plan to contribute for a
moment, we could add you to our developers/contributors mailing-list:
gtg-contributors

Something that could be of great help for us regarding this port would
be to point out and list all relevant documentation you already use
about GTK2 to GTK3 switch, for instance on our wiki (let's say, on
https://live.gnome.org/gtg/GTK3Port)
