When using Hugin 2012.0.0 on Windows 8 64 bit, the fast preview does not
work. As soon as one tries to enter the FPW, the following message pops
up (in German): "Die schnelle Panoramavorschau erfordert ein System mit
mindestens OpenGL 1.1 und der GL_ARB_multitexture Erweiterung. Schnelle
Vorschaufenster kann nicht geöffnet werden." (which can be translated as
"The fast panorama preview requires a system with OpenGL 1.1 or higher
and the GL_ARB_multitexture extension. Fast Preview window cannot be
opened."

Apparently this is common behaviour under Win 8, see

I have tried all versions back to 2010.4, all the same.
