Hi,
with same problem on a HP Pavilion dv6 intel/Ati
I blacklist radeon on boot and charge it on /etc/rc.local adding
modprobe radeon
then you can use vgaswitcheroo
You have to exclude radeon only on boot in order to bypass the kernel panic
