I am running into PHP application issues  with DOM on centos 5.5 x86_64.

I installed php53u for PHP version 5.3.6 
I found out that php53u-xml is build upon libxml2 v.2.6.7 whereas both ubuntu and windows version of PHP 5.3.6 are built upon libxml2 v 2.7.6 and 2.7.7
