I have a customer that is requesting an updated pecl-ssh2 package because they need the capability to "chmod" files which was added in 0.12.

ALL of the ssh2 releases are tagged as "beta" by the developer, so the
current "stable" version in IUS is also beta. In bug #1170131 Ben cites
a dependency issue with libssh2 on EL5 (EPEL 5 version of libss2 is too
old), but the only place that php53u-pecl-ssh2 is released is on EL6
anyhow.
