IN fact it is a *very* nice thing. I even made a program to do exactly
that for TangoPcb (in normal mode, component names were changed).
Why is it nice? because when you panelize, the manufacturer also asks to
add an extra blank area on top and bottom, plus a guide-hole, plus some
alignment things, a unified drilling is also desirable, etc...
In Kicad this is very easy and it was one of the very first things that
I tested before adopting Kicad. So, me too, I am hoping that this get
fixed ;)
