There was the issue on the visitor/collector not taking them in for DRC.
AFAIK there were some experimentation on it but I don't know if it has
been committed.

So at least this test is needed in order to do such a modification.
Anyway I agree, it's very useful. I would use them for RAST card edge
connectors (they *are defined* by the cut...); actually any kind of card
edge connector could use that feature.
