Hello folks, I'm having another think. Daniel was friendly, and it is
true that Jon has moved on, and probably will not be interested in a
KC seat in the future. I'm CC'ing Jon so he can object if he wants.

Scarlett is now on the UCC, and she has asked in IRC for us to
consider the "bus factor". If one person is the owner, and something
happens to them, what happens to the team? To prevent this, having
group ownership is the best protection, and the UCC is the logical
owner. So I propose a new response, as follows:

Hello Daniel and the UCC,

Thanks for your response. We were all taken aback by the abruptness of
the first request, and given the past history of the perceived
disregard of the KCC by the UCC, rather insulted. We all felt we were
being instructed to change ownership for no reason.

Scarlett and Daniel have both now given us a reason: the bus factor
when a group is owned by a person. We see that that is worth
evaluating, and we are consulting among ourselves.

All the best,

Valorie
