Hi,

I'm at the Canonical Ubuntu sprint and we were just discussing python
versions. The current plan is that there will only be 2.6 and 3.1 in
lucid. This would obviously make it hard to do Launchpad development on
lucid while it's still on 2.5.

Beta 1 of lucid is scheduled for March 18th. That's the point at which
we want to start widespread testing, and so would be a perfect target
for launchpad to run on 2.6.
