Besides loggerhead, the following other sourcecode projects have a 1.x
format for their lp sourcecode branch, but a 2a upstream branch:

bzr-git
bzr-svn
mailman (checking against lp:mailman/2.1)
subvertpy
testresources

Perhaps it would be worth doing them all, to minimize the individual
occasions when people need to think about this?

Although, IIRC update-sourcecode automatically handles upgrades, so it
shouldn't be that painful?
