= Parallel Testing Status: 2012-03-07 =

== Progress towards biweekly action items ==

 * [yellow] buildbot charms in the official repo: DONE
    * All must-have requests followed
    * Many suggestions followed (Notably an MP to charm tools tor
    add Python charm helpers, and a python shell toolbox package).
    * Sent back to ~charmers requesting that they propagate to the
    official repository
 * [yellow] Have the LP build steps tested and working within the
 buildbot environment: DONE
    * Fully running! Some tests fail. Some may be overlayfs issues.
    * Interacted with kernel team to keep aufs available in Precise if
    overlayfs bugs are not caught and fixed in time.
    * Interacted with lxc dev to incorporate more changes to the script,
    and more fixes to bugs we have encountered
 * [yellow] Scaling assessment based on experimental results: BLOCKED
    * Waiting on webops.
 * [yellow] Have a deployment plan: BLOCKED ON WEBOPS FOR APPROVAL
    * Proposed. Robert voiced approval. Waiting on webops for further
    comments, but mthaddon showed that he had noticed it because he
combined it with the existing RT.

== Progress on tracked items ==

 * Bug:914166 - Zope layer setup and teardown 'tests' cannot be filtered
 by testr: NOT DONE
    * no activity in the last six weeks
 * Bug:914281 - testrepository.repository.file._Inserter does not
 support tags: INVALID
 * Bug:902143 - juju set <service_name> --filename does not work : DONE
    * 2012-01-20: In Progress → Fix Released
 * RT 50242 - get a buildbot machine for testing: NOT DONE
    * blocked on webops, as mentioned above.
 * Bug:914392 - LXC local provider does not respect 'series'
 (only installs oneiric): DONE
     * 2012-02-21: Triaged → Fix Released

 * Bug:925024 - apparmor makes it impossible to install
 postgresql-common on Precise: NOT DONE
    * Status: Confirmed
    Serge Hallyn (serge-hallyn) wrote on 2012-02-17: I would consider
    this a high priority bug. This pretty much means that containers
    cannot be protected by apparmor, because we can't predict when
    they might be - for no apparent reason - unable to access some
    file which they should be able to access.
 * Bug:924337 lxc lucid containers on precise hang: DONE 2012-03-02
 * 925028 apparmor breaks lxc-start-ephemeral: DONE 2012-03-02
 * Other interest: -v for testr (with timestamp): Gary will file a bug
 * ephemeral machines share a MAC, causing them to share an IP,
 causing problems: Gary will file a bug

== Goals for next meeting ==

 * Deliver scaling assessment based on experimental results(carry over
 from previous two weeks)
 * Bug fixes for test failures discovered in parallel test runs
