I apologise for the part 2 of the question as I should have sorted it out by myself and now have done so. It may help some other newbie to bzr. I copied the .ssh (NOT the .gnupg!) to my laptop, did some hacking and then pushed the revised version of easmy/fem2 after loging in to launchpad: bzr launchpad-login <my launchpad login name> then, when asked, gave the bzr my password to the private key and all was well. I still would like to know How can I insert a link to and upload a pdf file. I expect it to be something very simple, like click some command. It is nevertheless very frustrating, particularly if it is simple. I find that GUI, all GUI, is harder to document that command line UI. For this reason for someone with little "live" contact with other users of computers GUI can be very frustrating.
