Re: Benefits of Lubuntu being official (was: Re: Ask Mark session )
Kendal,
I would also like a 64-bit option. I have a dual-core machine and would
love to run 64-bit STS/Eclipse. At the same time, I'm getting between 7-8
hours of run time on my battery. Generally speaking, will 64-bit be more
hungry or more efficient than the same 32-bit OS?
BTW, I like your distro a lot. I gave Peppermint One and Peppermint Ice a
whirl about the same time I tried Lubuntu. I loved all three distros.
Lubuntu was drawing less power than Pepperment or Ubuntu so I stuck with
it. I still recommend Peppermint along with Lubuntu to others. Keep up the
good work.
