Re: b43 (broadcom) WiFi

 

hiyas,

So, maybe you could explain the anomaly whereby the LiveCD works with the
broadcom chipset? I'm not a great fan of pages upon pages of discussions on
the finer art of stuff... I'm a fan of ... "Yeah, that works". My request
is that as we have LiveCD work fine with b43, but it is not included in
install it should be. Currently this puts users in the rather precarious
and conflicting state of "If you're at all unsure if your system will work,
please use the LiveCD"....
