Right. But virtualization is not new in 12.10 ... how was an
Intel/AMD-specific test case like this successfully passed on PPC in
12.04 testing? How did that happen? I don't understand.
>From reading through the server testcases, I think the only one with a
glaring PPC issue is the one I referred to in a recent email, SWI-011,
the "Virtualization Host" one.
Others may need some minor fixup (I'm seeing a default hostname of
"new-host" where the test cases assume "ubuntu", for example), but these
are trivial for any decent tester to figure out, and are probably not
PPC-specific anyway.
Meanwhile, if anyone has successfully got a 12.10 GUI Lubuntu working on
PPC (G4) with an nVidia video card, please let me know the secret :)
