I did an install from the today's daily to a Samsung 535. Several
problems came up:

No splash screen although the option in the grub file is correct
("quiet splash")

There is no sound! I had to weak a lot around and finally, installing
pulseaudio and a virtual oss it worked

After awakening the computer from sleep wireless is dead. I have to reboot

A problem with the update notifier (which is related to this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/1003100
, at least apport brought me there and the description i get is
similar)
