Re: Testing Quantal netboot powerpc
When i installed via alternate - the iso never ever worked on my PB G4
17"! - i had exactly the same phenomenon you describe at 4). But it
finally installed too . . .
Just a question: How could i find out the bit depth of my machine (is
it = video ram; 64mb = 64 bit??? Sorry for the dumb question ;) ).

PS. I did some "parallel attempts":
Installed Mint-PPC 11, which uses the debian net installer. Worked
fine (but is kernel3.2 based!).
Changed the bit depth in the yaboot.con from '-32' to '-24' and got
the recursive fault crash.
