Re: synaptic bombing on lubuntu raring ringtail --- norwegian system

Hi,

I asked on the bug channel.

phillw: does not seem so, the raring task is still open

I'll ask further. For your information, the master bug is
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/synaptic/+bug/880493 Please
subscribe to that bug for update.

A further update from the ubuntu-release team(I always remove their nicks,
but the conversation was between myself, xxxxxxx and yyyyyyy). You can go
dig the logs out from ubuntulog, but I always feel that the discussion is
more important than the names.

(23:41:22) phillw: hi good people, would the fix for bug 880493 be sitting

So, get logged to the master bug and you will get an update as soon as it
gets reviewed and put into proposed. The update will explain how to use
proposed area. If you have questions after the information arrives, please
feel free to ask me or people on the irc area #ubuntu-bugs

Rest assured, it is on the way to being fixed :)

Regards,

Phill.
