Yeah, maybe... I'd like to hear your opinions on that, too... I made them translatable to have as much of the UI translated, but I might've overshot... Maybe I should remove those translations... Roughly the same applies to the Vimeo plugin. In the team, "Galician" We talk about this myself and believe that "no" should be translated
I had only a brief look at the CNN plugin. However the fact that we have titles for CNN's show names (like "Larry King Live") in the translation file doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
The reason are:1) what happens if CNN adds new shows in there ? i suppose they will appear in english until someone bothers to check i18n/constants.py and update it with the new show names. This probably happens often. 2) same thing if CNN remove a show. The show name will remain in i18n/constants.py until someone notices and proceeds to remove it. 3) some of the show names can't be translated anyway, and they would look silly if they were.
So my opinion is that we should remove the show names from i18n/constants.py for the reasons mentioned above (and because we don't have anyone whose job is to keep an eye on CNN to see what is added and removed).
However, I believe it's probably ok to leave in there the top-level menu items and the "generic" names from the "categories" section (and maybe "iternational" section). These are probably very rarely changed, if ever (obviously just a guess, but it's statistically easier for Larry King to fall down a flight of stairs rather than "Politics" to stop existing in the world ;))
Just my 2 cents, -- Ugo
