Ok this was a false alarm. Somehow the GWT version used got mixed up
when I started to use Eclipse for debugging. It seems it was just a
version conflict. Sorry for that.
Updates the client sends to the server are still not forwarded to
the datastore. I will see whether I can find out more about that
problem.

Last night I was testing HashSet<DevTeam> DevTeam.getDevTeams()
which is part of the DevTeamService.
This actually worked and that's why I thought a concrete
serializable class should fix the bug. You can check it out by going
to the admin settings -> admin Tasks. This is the test page added to
create dev teams and everytime you go to that page, it should show
you a list of all dev teams in the database.
