I think it's ok for now, we're all very familiar with git.

Since you chimed in, would you be willing to review the changes and
upload to ubuntu when everything is good? Nothing substantial has
changed in the code since RAOF reviewed it, only one tiny bug fix to
check for a NULL pointer before dereferencing it. The real changes are
just in the packaging since we're transition from *-gevdev to *-evdev
and dealing with API/ABI issues with proper build and runtime deps.
