Perhaps not; as you suggest, me actually building something in Eventlet may
be the best thing we can do for the discussion at this point, by providing
something we can look at.

I may be a complete convert to Twisted once I have finished the RS API -- we
shall see :)

PS: I asked Gustavo, but I'll ask you too -- would you be interested in
writing the Twisted equivalent RS API so we have something to compare to?
