Re: File Exchange

Hello all,

I don't have a strong opinion about where file_exchange should go, but
still I have one:
I definitely vote for inclusion into OCA umbrella.
However I don't vote for merge into the server-env-tools branch.

Why?

   1. same reasoning as before about putting many modules into the same
branch: I consider it a temporary work around due to the lack of decent
module packaging, but it won't scale in the future. If that's for rescuing
a module from an un-maintainable even larger branch definitely yes. If
that's for a small bu useful module that would never been noticed otherwise
definitely yes again. Now a project that has some identity and a nice
branch of its own, I'm not necessarily in favor.
   2. specifically file-exchange can have its own critical mass and
eco-system of its own. Especially if people start to make extensions of it.

All, right, that was it. Long life to file_exchange that being said.

Regards.
