Thanks Eric for the initiative.  It is my surprise why OpenERP wouldn’t be able to think and give much importance to such needed features in accounting, when they are selling a cloud based so called “Accounting” software a fundamental requirement is to have proper(standard based) tool to design P&L and Balance sheets reports, every other accounting products does provide some sort of basic/standard tools. In our short experience with OpenERP in the market this is the major stumbling block we have faced and quite challenging to promote a product with such major limitations.
