Version of Ubuntu: 8.04
CPU: Intel 32 bit T5750 Core 2 Duo
Did OpenShot Work? Yes
 - Import a Video? Yes
 - Import an Image? Yes
Did melt find "avformat": Yes
Version of ffmpeg: FFmpeg version git-8172b3f
Notes: Openshot worked, transitions worked OK. This install of Hardy has the Ubuntu Studio packages installed with a real time kernel (version 2.6.24-23-rt). Alsa reported errors in the terminal as my external sound card was not connected (expected behaviour). One slight problem I noticed was a regular delay between positioning the playback marker and pressing play in the playback window - it would take 5 - 10 seconds to start playing back.
