Re: Getting back into the swing of it!
Helen, don't worry about it. Everyone understands that we all volunteer our
time, and that there will be times that we just disappear. It's really no
big deal. Of course, our bugs pile up quicker without your help, but I've
been trying to keep them in check.
That's great news that you were able to re-connect with some of your
extended family. Did you tell them all about OpenShot? =)
I'm not a huge fan of the way LaunchPad tracks "wishlist" items. But the
problem with using the Answers section is that there is no easy way to
filter the list of questions down to just wishlist items. The bug tracker
has that ability. But it still seems weird to classify a wishlist item as a
bug.
As far as setting up translations on LaunchPad, the first step is for you to
get a POT file generated that has ALL of the text you want to translate.
I'm not sure how to do that with your XML file, but here is the command I
use for .glade files:
xgettext -j -o ~/openshot/main/language/OpenShot/OpenShot_glade.pot
--keyword=translatable
Glad to have you back!
