Public bug reported:

If I start openshot with my default locale, the Transitions and Effects
tabs are empty. To reproduce, try:

  $ LC_CTYPE=da_DK.UTF-8 /usr/bin/openshot

If I change LC_CTYPE to, say, C or en_GB.UTF-8 the transitions and
effects are shown in the tabs as expected.

I am using openshot 1.3.0-1 from Debian unstable, installed via apt-get.
