It's not letting me install the newest version. when I use terminal to open it, it opens it but terminal says this: --------------------------------

A new frmMain has been created

and that is after I followed the ppa instructions here:

  openshot force closes when doing anything

Bug description:
  I am running Ubuntu 10.04 I used Ubuntu software center to download. I
  am running Openshot 1.1.3 I try and do anything with the video effects
  and it closes without a warning. And recently it closes when I try to
  play any video that I put on the timeline. It seemed to be working ok
  before until I tried to cut a clip that I had reversed (except the
  video effects, those didn't work for me even before)
