I prefer tags to categories or categories/tags. It makes searching easier.
In Gimp or even Photoshop you have to go over large menus to find the filter
you want. They are categorized but most of the time finding something you
want is a pain. especially when the number of plugins grow. In phatch, on
the other hand, it is much easier to search for what you want. Even if you
don't know what it is called. Typing a keyword will most likely be enough to
find it.

The only thing that phatch actions menu is missing is relevance sorting.
When you search, actions are sorted alphabetically. Say you are is searching
for watermark. The first action that appears is Color to Alpha, Highlight,
Mask and Text then you have to scroll to see Watermark. Many users may
assume the action watermark doesn't exist. A better solution is to sort the
results by relevance. A description match should score more than a tag
match. And a name match should score more than both description and tag
match.
