Agreed, so it has to be single-click again. That is a bit inconsistent
with the thumbnails view but still more usable.

Can you send me a (link to a) file where this happens? It never
stopped working for me, so I have a hard time debugging that.

Which "labels" do you mean exactly?

The added flexibility seems a large benefit. Also grouping
functionality seems sensible. The only thing it adds is a few pixels
for the grab handles of the toolbars. So I don't really see a reason
for changing it.

Maybe you could expand on why this is so important to you? I really
don't understand it. (Maybe a screenshot, because the "labels" are
mysterious to me as well.)
