Well, Pyramid is part of the Pylons *project*. There is little in
common between Pyramid and Pylons 1.0 (the framework). Pyramid comes
from repoze.bfg with few additions to make it more accessible for old
Pylons (the framework) users.
Coming from a small Pylons 1.0 experience, learning Pyramid is not a
piece of cake for me, but quite interesting.
I have read somewhere that Pyramid is more flexible than Pylons 1.0
and creating a Pyramid plugin architecture 'à la Django apps' would be
easier than using Pylons, but I can't really comment on that point.
