Hey Matt,

So I've had another look at your latest revision, and things seem to be
working very nicely and at good speed!

Yesterday I was looking at rev 1438 - the display timings were the ones
which stood out, a quick comparison:
view - rev1438 query/display - rev1448 query/display
accessories - 0.04/2.00 - 0.05/0.01
internet - 0.67/1.56 - 0.05/0.01
provided by ubuntu - 0.12/14.82 - 0.12/0.06
show tech items in above - 3.86/something insanely huge - 0.98/0.83

Clicking on 'technical items' in the installed pane would still seem to lag
a titch though.

So as you can see, everything is looking quite sweet. The speed was the only
main concern that I had, so as this has been resolved I'm quite looking
forward to seeing this in trunk too ;)
