Re: freezes with ubuntu jaunty
Hi i didn't had sporadic freezes like you, but sometimes the desktop
performance using compiz was very poor, with many slowdowns when doing
desktop cube switching or scale the windows, and activating the UXA method
in the xorg.conf as it says here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/UxaTesting solved
my performance problems, and i dont noticed inestability or any bug as it
says in the link i posted above. The desktop is going perfecty now. Maybe it
can solve your problems too, and if not you also can try this:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReinhardTartler/X/RevertingIntelDriverTo2.4 that
will revert the intel grafic drivers to version 2.4 . Hope this helps
