Hi,

What (vanilla) kernel parameters do you use? And what modules get loaded
at boot?

When using the kernel 2.6.35 based SysRescueCD LiveCD I get a blank
screen during the module initialization (unfortunately I can't tell
which module :() - I tried one version based on nouveau and one based on
nvidia, both did not work.
The only way to circumvent this and to get a non blank screen is by
choosing the "without KMS" grub entry.

I read a lot about the problems with the 2 graphic cards and the
graphic-switch, unfortunately I don't recall if there where any
kernel-parameters needed to get one of the two graphic cards to work.

Also: Do you suggest nouveau or the nvidia driver?
