Re: Problems with kernel 3.1 and vaio Z21 (2011)

 

Well, I just tried changing the DefaultDepth to 16 to see what would happen.
Not pretty. I also did a
xdpyinfo | grep "of root"
  depth of root window:    24 planes

So it looks like it is in 24 bit color depth. I wonder why it is rendering
the gradients so poorly...
