One thing I think that would be useful here is for you to push whatever you
do to a launchpad branch. I have created a project on launchpad at
launchpad.net\startubuntu , to which you can push your code to. This would
allow you to keep is somewhere, along with allowing everyone else to have a
good idea what you are doing and be able to lend a hand if we can. It would
also allow others to test it (Which i suggest be done in a virtual
environment)
