Hello
I know this is not, but we can register it as one. Also, you can have
non-region specific loco teams (just checked). The main thing for this is
that it would garner visibility. it would be easy, as soon as I have admin
access to the launchpad team, so that I can merge with the loco team. The
reason for this is that we already have all of the resources - we have a
launchpad and wiki, and an irc and mail list. All that remains is to join
lp:/~locoteams to be listed. And then, we can apply for Ubuntu Trademark
using the loco team application, which should allow us better access,
hopefully.
