The thing is, just to clarify, I have no plans to add source code or  
make any changes to the source code of these packages, other than the  
occasional bug-fix that can be applied as a patch in the {.deb, .rpm}  
package and sent upstream for inclusion. That means it would never be  
relevant to deviate from upstream's version numbering scheme, which is/ 
will be the same as the CCP4 suite's.
