Re: Kernel Talk

Hi,

whatever is decided by any and all, the non-pae kernel is available to
anyone and everyone. With the next build I will be adding it to the
dedicated ppa https://launchpad.net/~phillw/+archive/non-pae3.13 this means
that people can add that ppa and receive updates to the kernel as and when
ubuntu release them (I hope to have the non-pae version within 48 hours
after each release by ubuntu kernel team).

Lubuntu 14.04 non-pae will be created in the next couple of weeks, as I
want it tested before win XP goes EoL. This is a community respin and I
need to double check with our boss as to how much 'advertising' I can give
it on the GetLubuntu areas.

@Ali, this is quite some work load for me. I'll help you out where I can
once you decide on what torios is to be, but be aware... a release will eat
your time like you've never thought possible. Just playing with the kernel
has caused me sleepless nights, I've still to make the ISO :P

Regards,

Phill.
