Hi,

I know it is the weekend and I must be having fun away from keyboard but thought to do some pending stuff and login.

Since ToriOS is mentioned, it is not really off-topic but it is very much related to ToriOS (and other projects).

That link will make things a bit clear of what I have in mind for ToriOS.

Again, Ultimate means the best but later, not now. We can't reach there unless we spend time, energy and efforts and above all, it is a matter of do we need/want that or not? and in short, we are not yet ready but very much working hard on it.

Enjoy!

P.S.
I'll be AFK (Away From Keyboard) for the rest of the day.

Hi,

Hi,

This reminds me of this:

" that the raceisnot to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all."

Even if you were the fastest strongest wisest richest you may very well not succeed. There are plenty of examples I can think of from my country where the weak or poor have triumphed to become pillars of historical achievement.

So, I think it is good for us to just continue working and doing our best not because we want to be the most /AMAZING GNU PEOPLE EVER/.... but because we really just want to make a light operating system that will help people who are too poor to buy a new computer!

My old ME-era machine is very usable (except flash). I can get on the internet, I can compose documents, make art, make music... all because I have an operating system that is running with very little RAM.

believe in, and it will come naturally." - David Frost

That is indeed why the above motto is a rule I live by and that is what that video on my post has mentioned :)

And this is what we are doing. Not only with ToriOS but with Kibo and Ubuntu GNOME as well.
