Hi all,
Joe got back to me and he has fixed this issue... so I will repackage
JWM and we will have a new version with working backgrounds!

Now that is FAST!  I pinged him again just the other day, and he already
fixed it.
So we can all test it out, (plus the newer features) and see how it all
works!

I just now commited a fix for this, so "stretch" should behave as it
used to. I also added a "scale" background type for anyone who would
desire the newer behavior.
